The restaurant was clean when we went, the service was ok and the food was edible. This place is far from authentic Tex-Mex or Mexican food. Its about as authentic as Taco Bell, but at least the food was more edible than the last time I went to a Taco Bell. I wouldnt choose to go here again, but I would still eat here if I got out voted and went with a group.
I came here with my wife and my two kids for the first time and I was told that this restaurant has been here for ten years ago. I got the house special fajitas texanas. It was more than I expected but it was enough for my wife. She also got a new addition to the margarita, a coconut margarita. It was good too. We went home full with leftovers. Over all, the food was delicious.
It is hard to believe that some people actually think that this is authentic Mexican food. But I guess Taco Bell is authentic also. I guess in new iberia we settle for sub par food that’s why 90% of the restaurants suck. There isn’t much here that is authentic we rather get more food on our plates than better quality food. I bet those who say this is authentic think NI Chinese places are authentic too.04 Jan, 2013If you like Taco Bell you would probably like this place. It is Taco Bell with a Mexican theme being severed by Mexicans that would not eat any of the crap they are serving you. The taco taste like the burrito which taste like the enchilada. Just like Chinese places in town the Mexican food is not authentic. Try taco San Luis around the corner.
