Better than most places in New Iberia, but overpriced for what it is. Also seems high to have to pay adult prices for a 10 year old, but she just turned 10 and I do t know the age cutoff for childrens prices most places. I thought it would be more like 12 years old, though. Still the food is good, and there is a good selection of things for someone who cant or doesnt eat a lot of soy sauce rich sauces (brown sauces). Since most places can never answer me for sure on rather their soy sauce contains MSG, I find this to be a good thing. It allows my SO to still get his Chinese food fix, and me to still find things I can eat. Most Chinese buffets or even just Chinese restaurants we have been to in the area have mainly soy sauce rich, brown sauces on everything. Food always seems fresh and taste good (except their deserts, think Little Debbie type snacks cut in pieces), and the place seems pretty clean, even if some furniture is old and the vinyl is cracking or peeling. The place could use some newer furniture and some areas in the building could use some permanent repair instead of cheap temporary fixes. Better desert choices would be great. I dont really go out to eat Little Debbie type snacks or cheap, stale Walmart/Sams Club bakery deserts. Could use some huge improvement on the desert options. If not going to improve deserts, theyd probably be better off scratch deserts and using the space for more options for the main meal.
