The red velvet is legendary! Is not a birthday at our house if there’s no Guidry’s red velvet. They note also have cupcakes to go. We tried the German chocolate. They did not disappoint. Worth every calorie!
Best Red Velvet EVER.. For the first 21 years of my life, I had red velvet birthday cake from Guidry’s every year. Then I moved away. No more Guidry’s, and never found good red velvet again, I was too spoiled for Guidry’s. 23 years later, I’m moving back to the area (somewhat unwillingly, a tornado hit my house in New Orleans and I’m done even though I love New Orleans), and looking forward to a great big red velvet birthday cake for my 45th birthday, even if I have to buy it myself. And I know it’s still good because I had some recently at a family gathering. Nobody beats it. Heck, I may not even wait for the birthday, I may get a red velvet cake first thing when we move. 🙂

OMG they have the best Red Vetlvet cake on the planet! We have been getting them for birthdays since I was a kid. Not to sweet, creamy, excellent. I have given up on trying others. I can’t even stomach them usually and even if I get past the first bite I can’t finish them. Guidry’s is the best, hands down.
