Poor service. I was very disappointed with how we were treated at dinner last night. The waitress who did not introduce herself, was VERY RUDE!!!!!!! Then she had the nerve to right in her tip on all of our tickets like we were not gonna leave a tip. A tip is a courtesy and not mandatory. I will let the world know that this place is filled with hidden racism. Because we were all black, you felt the need to WRITE your tip on the ticket instead of allowing us to give you one. That was not okay.How did she know I wasn’t gonna give her more. But after her actions, it proved otherwise that she didn’t deserve the one she got. This was a high end restaurant in a small city with a small minded waitress named JENNIFER. Yes you have been put on blast.
Over cooked shrimp, cold potato , too pricey
Over priced tip. My husband and I, with another couple, went their last night for his 50th birthday. We asked for two seperate checks. Our bill was $65.00 and theirs was more. I had asked for a straw twice and never received it. The other couple both had to ask for their stuffed potatoe they didn’t receive. They also received a wrong drink. When the bill came, the dessert we ordered was on their bill. No big deal, I just gave them $5.00 for the dessert. We gave her our credit cards and when the bills came back she had written the tip on both receipts and wrang it up for us to sign. We always leave at least 15% or more. I just that that was wrong giving yourself a $12.00 tip and another $15.00 on their bill. We did not receive a $27.00 tip service for a slow Thursday night. This is the first time I had ever seen this before at this New Iberia location. I read on the internet this morning that if you are a party of 6 or more or pay seperate checks they charge a 18% tip. I don’t think this is good business at all. I don’t think our business will be back anytime soon. Our server was nice and she did bring my husband a bread pudding out for his birthday. The food was very good. For the price you pay, the salads could be alot better. ( regular lettuce and two slices of tomatoe) does not fit the food and prices. P.Lopez of New Iberia
A mainstay for our family. We order takeout from Little River every week…sometimes more than once. Love the hamburger steak with onions, which is a great value, and we enjoyed the chicken fried steak last week, as well as the chicken and sausage gumbo.
The food is a little over priced for what it is. Mostly fried dishes with Cajun flair, average at best.
This isn’t a good rendition of Cajun food. Everything is over priced and not well prepared. Crab au gratin resembled vomit.
Wonderful. I had the crawfish etoufee when I went. It was so good. Our waitress was really helpful, cause I couldn’t decide what to get. Great service, great food, might be my new favorite place for cajun food!
