Went there for lunch today. Pitiful! No more crab cakes on the menu. We tried the sampler trio from the appetizers list – out of onion rings and no substitute allowed!?! New menu is not very appetizing!! Salad bar was out of most everything and the lettuce looked like it had been there for weeks. Not going back anytime soon. Even the waitress was frustrated with the place.
The worst customer service. Waitress is slow. I was there before the other table was and they all got to order and had their drinks served. It was not busy. I feel like I was a victim of racism. Since my wife and I were the only Asians there. Maybe she thought we didn’t have money, or maybe she didn’t see us. My goodness you must be blind to not see two human beings sitting in the middle of the room looking at each other .
Server was very attentive. Host sat us at a dirty table in which we had to stand next to while she cleaned it awkwardly. The place was empty with available tables that were set. Unclear in why that took place. Salad bar missing items and looked like no one checked in on it… At all! Manager sat at bar top entire time we were there. Drinks from the bar were so weak!!! Food was slow to cone out. Hubbs had cajun pasta which was over blackened/seasoned. I had the mountain chicken which was just ok. Will not return to Ruby Tuesday after this experience.
Improving Dramatically!!!. I have been going to Ruby Tuesday in New Iberia for a couple of years off and on but I have noticed a change in the past few lunches and dinner. The food has been incredible, the last time I ordered the Triple Prime Bacon Cheddar Burger, man that was the best burger i have eaten in a while, and I love to cook myself and I make good burgers 😉 All in all to try and cut this short, anyone doubting Ruby Tuesday, give them another shot, i mean they must be doing good, they still in business.P.S. They have some bacon wrapped shrimp with those baby back ribs, I am definitely gonna try that and get back to ya’ll!!!
First things first, when we walked in the host just stared at us like we were crazy. Sat us at a table that hadn’t been wiped. Floors were so dirty they were slippery. We both ordered a steak, they left a lot to be desired. We got the complementary biscuits at the very end of the meal, and they were nasty anyway. Our server came out the back chewing everytime he cameTowards or table. Definitely not worth the $36 bill.
I had the crab cake appetizer, good stuff. The bartender, Dusty, is very pleasant. Will go back anytime I am in the area..
