Boiled Crawfish paradise. Love it
This place is horrible. The service sucks. My wife and I ordered fried seafood and our friends ordered boiled. They got there food about 30 minutes before us. The waitress said it was because fried food takes longer and there’s only one cook. Well when we both got our food it was cold. Cold fried cold shrimp and cold stuff crab. We will not be visiting this place again.
Service sucked… Waited a good 40 minutes before we got served. Told the waitress we were waiting for food and she brought my husband a beer. They really pay attention to there customers , lol. Food was ok, won’t come back , not really worth it …
NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE. Tonite Jan 5th 2013 , we went out to eat at seafood Connection in New Iberia across the Bridge …Food and service was just ok … went to pay for our food i notice it was 8.75 for our drinks for 2 people…at first i was just thinking they made a mistake ..but My son was with us as well i think he had only 1 refill it cost him 8.75 as well 1 person …..they did the same thing to another couple 8.75 and another couple was 11.something…we were all together ….I asked to speak to a manger about it ….wanted to know since when they started charging for refills … he said it was his parents and he couldnt override them … i asked if it was on the menu some place or a sign on wall he didnt answer me … i told him that was crazy to charge that much for drinks and we had mostly ice in our cups 3 sips and u was done with ur drink ..and he just said nothing i can do about it ..so i spoke REAL loud and said dont get refills they cost ..so then he kicked me out of his place …I walked right outside of door .. one friend was in side getting 3 dollars back cuz she said she didnt get a refill ..i opened the door to see if she was done did not walk in was just gonna see if she was almost done cuz her husbad was ready …before i could say a word to her he came to door and told me to the the f**k off his property he told one of girls that works there to call the sheriff on me which my friend said they was doing ….One Place i will never go back to or the other 7 people that i was with …
Fried food is ok but I rather TC’s in new iberia. Boiled seafood doesn’t have enough spice. T bobs is always consistent and alot cheaper. Restaurant itself needs to be updated and its ridiculous that you have to go outside to get to the bathrooms.
Today I ordered a boiled shrimp salad with ranch dressing. I asked the lady on the phone what was on the salad and she told me boiled eggs, tomatoes, the shrimp and that’s all. When i received the salad it was nohing more than some cocktail shrimp on some shredded taco lettuce with a tomato cut into 4’s. I pay $7 and some change for this. When I called to make a complaint the phone was given to the owner who became very irrate and then hung up in my face! So I went to the restaurant and once inside the owner told me to go back outside and speak thru a window. I declined and when she approched me she told me to lower my voice and calm down. I was not rude with this lady until she got rude with me. She declined my refund and did not offer to give me something else from the menu. Needless to say I will not be eating here again. And this was my first time eating from there because I am not from Louisiana!
Great Shrimp Balls. I visited Seafood Connection one Saturday night and fell in love with the Shrimp Balls (which is an appetizer on the menu). I enjoyed also the Gumbo and the fried Shrimp was good also. I agree with the other reviews when I say the food is great, but the building is old and needs to be re-done. I had to exit the restaurant to go to the bathroom which is on the outside. That was pretty weird, but I fully enjoyed my food and the service was great.
