Memories. I ate at Viators Drive Inn many years ago when I lived in New Iberia. I now live in New Mexico and on my last visit I decided to enjoy a hamburger from there.I order my old standby a burger no cheese or mayo just mustard and the fixings pickle included. I don’t eat fries or milky drinks so the hamburger was the feature.I was not disappointed. The burger was delicious like I remembered it. The recipe was the same with red chili powder in the meat mix. If a hamburger is not what you want I remember the hot dog on a french bun with chili was very good.Enjoy it like I did and I will eat there again when I return from New Mexico.

All i can say is.. Be sure to call in your order, and if you don’t like a well seasoned homemade-style burger have the hot dog instead.

Grew up eating here so I still enjoy the food. Even though I know the wieners aren’t good for you( you know the bright red ones). Hamburgers have alot of black pepper and I enjoy all of it. Yes I have found alot better but on a nostalgic level I still have to stop here on occasion.

This is a place that lives in my heart… I know I am not alone when I say this place was a major part of my childhood and as an adult I miss the food from this drive in. This place made everything from the heart. As a Chef that lives in New York City as an adult, I would give anything for a hotdog, bacon cheeseburger, ham and cheese po-boy and cajun curly fries. Man I need to make a trip soon because I am making myself hungry.

Best burgers in town! Actually seasoned!!! The fries are a little under seasoned but cooked so good. The pricing is perfect for the area. One of my favorite places to go for lunch.

Memories. My family used to get hot dogs here all the time when I was a kid. I don’t know why I haven’t had one in so long but I was in the area and stopped by today. It was just as I remembered. Not just a hot dog, it was the same mini french bread they had back then that was soft inside and crusty outside, and the same homemade chili I loved. Not the usual drippy, tomato like, sauce that most places have. Very tasty too. I will have to stop by again soon.
