Delicious!. Huge order whole fried mushrooms in light breading perfectly fried with remoulade sauce. Fried oyster poboy loaded with fresh crispy oysters with plank fries…..perfect. Wed lunch special of bourbon glazed pulled pork sliders served with 2 sides…coleslaw with blue cheese and pecans and smothered corn…..outrageous! Full belly….Happy Customers!!!
Fried rabbit and red beans is a must! Nice portions, great food and very sweet tea- I was in heaven! Drove up from Baton Rouge, worth the trip!
I was pretty disappointed in Hot Tails today. While they have made several improvements (better customer service and food seasoning), the bad outweighed the good. Today, the prices were marked up from what they had been in the past and the portions were noticeably smaller. Unless some miracle happens and they go back to their original prices when the place first opened, I’ll never go back. The food portion and quality simply isn’t worth the price. Luckily for them, there isn’t much competition in New Roads because they’d have a hard time surviving in a larger city.
What an awesome treat!. We were driving on our way to Paragon Resort and saw this cute little restaurant and decided to stop. Boy are we glad we did! With soooooo many seafood restaurants to choose from in South Louisiana, it’s hard to stand out. Hot Tails stands out! With great food, atmosphere and service, they have the perfect combo to keep us coming back for more. Did I mention the food was great? 🙂 Normally if I order the healthier option, I have food envy of everyone else. Not this time!! Best grilled shrimp I ever had.
Warning! This food is addictive!. I love the food! I love the people! I love the atmosphere!If you go to Hot Tails, you’ll find it’s habit forming! And it’s not called Hot Tails for nothing! It’ll clear your sinuses right out! Wooooweee!
