Food mediocre at best. Most of the food looks and tastes left over.

Best Chinese Buffet in Pineville. In my humble opinion, you can’t go wrong here. I do wish they would bring back the salt and pepper shrimp. Always plenty of food on the buffet and always fresh.
Return Business tells it all!. I’ve been going to China Queen since it opened. The prices have remained reasonable and the quality and quantity have continually improved. Even though the menu items come mostly from the buffet, there are many things cooked to order. The buffet is massive, replinished often, and the Mongolian grill offers many uncooked items which are cooked to order. Yum! And the latest innovation is a beautiful sushi bar, replete with wasabi, agari, and garlic-chili mayo! The desserts consist of many tubs of fruit and cakes, cookies, and ice cream. It has many repeat customers, including motorcycle clubs from across the state who make China Queen their destination! So what’re you waiting for?!!
It’s a buffet so if you go at an off time, the food isn’t likely to be very good. I find that even when it’s busy, sometimes the food doesn’t taste very fresh. Usually I get the Mongolian BBQ, so if that’s bad, it’s usually my fault for what I put in the bowl. The staff is always friendly and the service is very good.
