Good Sushi/Not Military Friendly. The sushi here is great, but when inquiring about military discount for your meal, it’s not so great. If a restaurant offers a military discount I apply what I saved and add it to the waitress’ s tip. Here they only offer a small discount to only what YOU order. I’ve never ran into this before. If me and my wife go out to eat together it should apply to our meal since I am the one paying. I politely let them know the meal was good but not be returning.

Frequent Diner. I am a fairly frequent diner here, as is my daughter and grandson. Everything here is great. Now they have liquor (not to keen on that, but the voting public voted wet for restaurants) I really love the India roll, it’s different and delicious. I usually get that (it contains banana!) and a vegetable futo maki. My wife always orders something different, but really misses the eggplant appetizer. Best seaweed salad in the area. All the staff is friendly and works very hard to make your visit enjoyable. By golly I think I’m going to do lunch there today!
Im a regular. Good food. Good sushi. Good service. Ask for the Yellowtail Jalapeno Appetizer.. (not on the menu, oh but they know lol) one of my favorites.. sit back enjoy your complimentary salmon roll and let the feasting begin. Exellent place. I reccomend it quite often.
Best place I’ve been to. Food is great, staff is friendly, setting is romantic. Since they have opened, i hace been at least weekly and some times more than once a week. My husband proposed to me at seat F2. WE HAVE A LOVE FOR THIS PLACE LIKE NO OTHER RESTAURANT.
Mikado is the absolute best!! The staff is so friendly they have become our friends and this has became a weekly lunch for our family!!!! Can’t wait to go back! Ting Ting roll rocks as well! All fresh food this us a trip you will not regret
Ain’t found better yet.!.anywhere!. I get the 133- Nabeyaki Udon every time I go. I have been all around the world in the Navy and I have never eaten a bowl of noodles anywhere better than here BAR NONE (I highly reclommend if you go here and are undesided try the 133)! The taste, portion size, price and everything else about this dish here is better than any other place I have been including New Orleans, Phillipines, Hong Kong, Chinatown San Francisco and Oakland. Also my wife and daughters say the sushi is the best in the Cenla area. There is only one drawback to this place is you can’t purchase an adult beverage here with your meal but it is not a big enough one for me to not come here based on the over all food experience.
