The best Mexican food I’ve ever had outside of the kitchen! I’m not really a fan of Mexican, but this food is really good. It’s family run, which can be good and bad, mostly in terms of staff. It’s the best at lunch bc there’s hardly any ppl there, but dinner time can get extremely busy (causing mix ups and forgetting orders).

Tonight was my first time eating here. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was good an inexpensive. I’ve lived in Houston, TX for over 10 years where Mexicans restaurants are all over the place. So I have a lot to compare this to. I’m not saying it’s the best I’ve ever had. But it’s definitely worth checking out.

The food sucks. Simply put, it sucks. It isn’t hot. It is flavorless and there is a male server, Mexican, who plays the no English game and can’t get an order right. After he takes it, he plays with his cell phone the entire time you are there. No refills. Just attitude. Won’t go back.

Food is mediocre. Tamales sit like a rock on your stomach, insides were bound up for two days. Had to take a laxative. Salsa was awful. They do have liquor now, though that to me is hardly a plus.*Note:Don’t confuse this place with the Yucatan out on Hwy 28 east in Pineville. It definitely is not the same!

Minus 1. I was the first customer Tuesday morning… Everything should have been hot… the queso and the chips were both served cold.. or her then that… food was excellent. .
