Great atmosphere, location and food!. Friendly small-town atmosphere, Biggest & BEST salads in town, deliciously grilled burgers and pizza anyway you like it. 🙂 I give it two thumbs up!
Ripoff. Terrible food, terrible service. Tip was added for waitress who did a poor job, then I was taxed on the tip. never going back.
Bad service. We ordered pizza and when we get there the order is wrong. We have to wait for another pizza and still pay for it. Then when we get home there isn’t any bbq on the pizza. We ordered a bbq chicken pizza. My advice eat pizza some where else. Don’t waste your money.
Crappy Delivery. I ordered a pizza at 4:15 PM. Delivery driver never showed up. Called 2 hours later and the manger was horribly rude to me on the phone when I inquired about the driver’s whereabouts. Good food, worst service ever. Never got my pizza, never got an apology. At least I made it out of this deal with a refund (I think) Extremely disappointed!!! You can do much better than this Uncle Johnny’s – pathetic service! WTF???
If you are on a low-carb diet, try the grilled shrimp or chicken Caesar salad!!! Yum!!! And they Deliver!!! 225-687-4992

The Truth. To everyone’s surprise, I’ve been patronizing Uncle Johnny’s since the restaurant hosted the best Super Bowl party in the area; that’s when the Saint’s won the Super Bowl during the 2009 season. I was that cat at the bar toasting to the good life! Anyway, I tend to know a lot about authentic New York style pizza and I would say that Uncle Johnny’s is on par with what we have in the Big Apple…I also feel as though Uncle Johnny’s has the best wings around. The Corporate wing chains that pride themselves on their wings are seriously missing the mark. They can take note from the way Uncle Johnny’s prepares their wings! I’ve had other menu items as well that I’ve enjoyed. The Q is actually one of my favorites along with a Caesar salad…That combination is hard to beat! As far as the establishment, it’s a quaint little place that has a nice family environment. At the end of the day, it’s a family restaurant with fresh ingredients, a nice mixture of other items, and a place where you can sit down with your friends or family to just catch up and wine down. I don’t ever recall being able to do that at a Pizza Hut Express or Little Caesars…So I’d advise everyone who hasn’t yet to give them a try! I mean…Why not?
