I worked in the area for 30 years and we (officers) came here on occasion starting back when most greasy spoon lunches were $5 andit was convenient. Nothing special, but satisfied the card cravings. In retirement I’ve been here twice in the pasted year and now I take a different view. Handicap parking is down the street and across from the gator pen, too far.Where handicapped parking should be is at the front door which is always occupied (last two trips) by a monster jeep or some kind of swamp vehicle. Elderly handicapped beware! The lunch even though advertised as $8.95 is $11 plus tip. The chicken fired steak was surprisingly good, The gravy has always been 2nd water dish water and the thing called squash casserole was a wad of some kind of cold rice, dry cheese and chicken parts. I wouldn’t recommend to someone I cared about. My lunch partner on this day was 89 years old and the experience was trying.

Worst breakfast ever!!! Not good – didn’t get food at same time – fake hash browns ( could’ve went to McDonald’s) burnt biscuits- don’t know how anyone can screw up breakfast – and then we were told maybe we weren’t used to their way of seasoning- gimme a break – it was breakfast!!! The bathroom was a closet with a toilet – really?!? Take my advice keep driving- not worth stopping!

Cheap, good breakfast near the tracks!. What more could you ask for in a breakfast?Cheap, fast, good service and an excellent breakfast. They also sell Hungarian dessert wines. Very good place.Watch leaving! Don’t get run over by a train (no joking).

Great little cafe, purely local. Stopped in for breakfast and found a warm, cozy little dining room and the friendly atmosphere of one of those places where the servers and the customers all know each other by name. I settled down to a great ham and cheese omelette and bottomless cup of coffee. Food was terrific as was the service. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back 🙂

Never Miss It!. My wife and I eat at Paul’s everytime we are in the area. Whether its breakfast or lunch, its wonderful! We love the biscuits and strawberry jam. Man, I need to go back soon! You can’t go wrong at Paul’s!

Food was excellent! The best part of my dining experience was the owner walking around asking you how your meal tasted and if you needed anything. Very prompt service also! A must try if in the area!

Love it!. Great food at a reasonable price. The best, friendliest staff you could ask for. I love how the owner will walk around and ask the customers how everything is. A must if you are in town!
