Went here around noon on a Thursday. When we arrived, there was only one other group dining in. Maybe that explains their hours; more on that later. This is a nicer restaurant with white linen tablecloths, so although ties and jackets aren’t required, you should avoid cut-off shorts and stained shirts.I ordered the Polenta fries with shrimp appetizer as my meal, and my father ordered an eggplant dish. The waitress returned after a couple minutes to let us know that the chef had burned the eggplant, so they couldn’t serve that, but showed him plates of two of the daily specials and he picked the fish. At other restaurants they’d probably try to serve the burnt eggplant anyway, so it’s nice that this place was honest. My dish was good. At first I thought the apples were actually tomato pieces due to their rich red color. I indulged my finicky tendencies and did my best to make sure every forkful included polenta, apple, prosciutto, and gruyere cheese, because together it was delicious. I don’t know how they cooked the apples – at first I thought they were tomatoes because of their rich red color – but it was almost worth buying the dish just for them. For all my praise, there is a downside: opening hours. They’re not open on Sundays and Mondays. Also, they’re only open for lunch from 11am until 2:30pm, then close and don’t reopen until dinner. I would strongly recommend calling to make sure they’re open, and maybe even making reservations, because twice I tried to go to them for lunch around 1:30-2:00 and they were closed.

Small Italian eatery. I’ve had lunch here twice, both visits have been very good. Both times I had a pasta dish which came with great salad. The first time I had the lunch special, a spaghetti dish that consisted of Italian sausage, and pork chunks in a very thin almost soup like sauce with a very tasty salad, forgive me, I don’t recall what the dish was called but that it was very good. The second time, this recent visit, their lunch menu item, their pasta alfrado, spaghetti tossed in a light cream sauce with prosuto, which was good, as well as the salad that came with it. Service is attentive, friendly and fast. Not sure what their dinner is like but it’s a nice lunch spot.
