Definitely not a fancy place, but still a good stop. Most po-boys are $6.50, and just the right size for one person. I got the smoked boudin po-boy; the boudin had a good flavor and the bread was nice. I found the casing of the boudin to be rather tough, but otherwise really enjoyed it. This place isn’t necessarily cheap, but it isn’t expensive either, especially when you consider that they make all the boudin and stuff themselves.

This is the only place to get good quality boudin in the Hammond area. The Ronnie’s Special is one of the best poboys you’ll ever eat as well!

The boudin and cracklings here are fantastic. Good poboys daily lunch specials that can be a little hit and miss sometimes. The Thursday pork steak special is an absolutely massive, Fred Flintstone, cut of smoked meat. The Friday jambalaya is very meaty and well seasoned.

Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had! Everything was spot on. The boudin was great! The brisket was perfect! The staff were so friendly, and the place was very clean. We got there right before the lunch hour so it was pretty empty when we got there but by the time we left the line was almost out the door. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it was definitely worth the it!

Boudin & Cracklins. Really well made Boudin, they have the seasonings and mix just right. The Cracklins are the more meaty type and spicy. Small selection of drinks. They even process, the man before us in line was there to pick up his deer.

Great People & Fantastic Food. Ronnie’s Boudin & Cracklin’ House is one of my favorites! Their crawfish boudin, BBQ brisket, and stuffed boudin balls are amazing. Don’t forget to try their delicious daily specials, great price for more food than most can eat. And last but not least, their beef jerky has saved me from starvation on the road more than once! 😀
