Fun little hole in the wall right off I-10. Nothing fancy here, but the place is clean and the help friendly. Had the grilled shrimp po’boy and a cup of chicken & sausage gumbo. The shrimp were plentiful, well cooked and seasoned. The bread was soft, but fresh and tasty. The gumbo was spicy and full of delicious meat. I went on my way well satisfied. If you’re passing through in need of sustenance and your other options for fast inexpensive food are McDonalds Burger King and Popeyes, why not support a local business?
Yes it is a bit of a hole in the wall – but the food is outstanding. One of the best seafood gumbo’s I’ve ever eaten (and I’m a Louiisiana native). Well worth the stop.
