Nasty. If your hungry, don’t go there. Small portions, no flavor, the food wasn’t hot, warm maybe but not hot like it should be, the waiters look tired just a poor service all together.
Best Mexican food in the greater New Orleans or greater Baton Rouge areas (the two cities I frequent). Super fast and cheap for lunch special during the week. Their grilled chicken is unbelievable. The usual free salsa and chips, salsa is very good, chips are too when they’re fresh which is most of the time (the occasional slip up). Nothing in the way of a bar or drinks. Not a social destination at all, but great food in a nice building. Perfect for lunch with coworkers of Mexican night with the family.
Really really good food and service. I lived in AZ for 5 years and this place is as good as Mama Rosa in Mesa, my all time favorite. This is the only place that can come close. I Love the atmosphere. I had the Plato El Patron and my wife had Enchilada dinner and 2 Margaritas. Highly recommend!
Love it!!! Our home away from home! Today we had the California burrito it was massive and yumminess filled steak chicken shrimp rice & pico de gallo and I had the steak & chicken fajita burrito with a side of the best gaucamole!!! The staff is always prompt friendly and great price for great quality. They are sprucing up with new lights!!!
Great customer service! Great food! The only Mexican restaurant in da parish in my opinion! They will even go the extra step to make what ya want even if it’s not on the menu!! We love El patron! Family oriented
Mediocre. This place is a step below your average run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. The food is nothing to write home about, and the servers have an arrogance about them. The food isn’t horrible, but if you’re looking for something different, this isn’t the place to go.
Very rude and unprofessional workers. Waited for 40 minutes with no food just drinks and cheese dip. Waiter never came to check on us or tell us anything. Did not care about our experience only the money owed for the drinks and cheese dip. Watched many people come in after us eat and leave. Still not a care by them. Worse ever!
