The waitress threw a spoon at my 1yr old daughter. I’ve visited this restaurant for years. Tonight, the food was horrible and so was the service. My son spilled a drink, the waitress wouldn’t wait for us to move so she could clean it up. She picked up a spoon off the floor and forcefully put it on the table causing it to bounce and fly past my daughter’s face. I asked for a refund ($80 for 8) and was refused. I called the Sheriff’s office to press charges and was told I would also be arrested for my mouthy, profane reaction. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. She shouldn’t be in food service.
Repeat customer. I use to enjoy dining there. There was a Lady Sushi Chef, that was terrific.. The sushi rolls were large, fresh and delish. But now they are small and tasteless.
It’s delicious and the kids love it. The chef will make your sushi fresh instead of it just sitting there. The grill is yummy. Don’t order the sake. It was salty. I hope someone responds that they fixed the sake issue, but the food is really good.
I agree with another review…place was awesome when first opened now food is old, raw half the time and not enough variety. Seems owners got lazy and careless. A real shame.
Stir fry me something mister. It is relatively new, spacious and clean. Definitely one of the better Asian buffets around and the food quality is high and fresh. It differentiates itself by also offering a Mongolian barbeque. That is my first stop, with a selection of veggies, meats and noodle. I was already full after that but could not resist sampling the variety.Returnability rating : 4 boomerangs

Hot wok. Iwas in love wih this place when thye fist opened the srvice was good and the food wa awesome,butthen last night 10/25/2010 my husband and me went there to have dinner a litte aftre nine and when i was eating the fish, I chewe on and chow on a piece of wire from the thing you scrub the pans with ugh I was sooo angry and when I told the girl at the counter, she ha the nerve to ask me how many plates did I hve so that she could base her deision on how much I ate and if I was lying or somthing. So we went bcak to the counter and she said she would discount the food, so then I said ok and then she said no I’m going to charge your husband for his food annot charge you for yours and she was laughing at us the whole time her and her co workers. So if you’re ever in the Chalmette plese do not eat at Hot Wok…its a HOT mess
