Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Don’t order the blackened redfish unless you like fish jerky. It was the toughest, most overcooked fish I’ve ever eaten. Very disappointing. First and last visit here.

AWESOME!. I am shocked at all of these negative reviews. We have been several times, and are in LOVE with the place. Food & service have always been excellent, and that VIEW. Taking a friend today. Can’t wait!!!

The service was very poor and almost walked out at one point. Lucky it was not crowded. Over priced too. I did enjoy the jalapeo tarter sauce with the shrimp cocktail.

It’s been awhile since we visited because the service was so slow at our last visit. But we decided to give them another chance, and we will not be returning. We stopped before 1 p.m on Saturday for lunch, ordering a crab cake, an oyster poor boy and shrimp creole. We sat outside for a short while enjoying the weather but had to go inside because the kitchen staff came outside and decided to sit at an empty booth near us smoking. We were told they were allowed to smoke outside. No one else was inside, and we noticed four tables set with glasses of water but no diners. A tour bus came in shortly and the tourists were promptly served. It’s after 1:30 and we still had not received our lunch. We spoke to the hostess and were told the kitchen was busy with orders for the tourists. As we were getting ready to leave at 1:45, the food arrived. Surely a restaurant should be able to accommodate twelve tourists and the two of us. Maybe that’s why the restaurant was empty.

Beautiful View Food and se…. Beautiful View Food and service sucksFood hit the table waitress disappeared. Food wasn’t what I ordered, they never made it right. Mgr/owner really didn’t seem to care. Had a beautiful view of the lake but when sun went down the skeeters came out. It got dark, no lights. I think they forgot about us. Waited forever to pay bill that wasn’t worth it the money. I could’ve just left. I had to go find somebody. Second time there, gets worse each time. Not again.

Quality Number One. WOW!!! Stopped in for a for night meal and was extreamly pleased. The food quality is the best around. I had a po-boy that was awesome, ingredients perfect, bread was perfect. If you’re from Uptown New Orleans like I am, then you know that po-boy quality is everything. You gotta try it for your self.10 Jun, 2013It’s the best place to eat on the lake. Great food, service is excellent and the view, beautiful. Can’t wait to go back.
