BEST POTATO SOUP EVER. This restaurant is a destination whenever family comes to town. If only for the Loaded Baked Potato Soup in a Bread Bowl. WOW!!!! It’s a good meal in itself. Very creamy, very rich. The flavors work well together. We’ve had terrific service everytime. I love the quiet and rustic atmosphere. The steaks are magnificent as well. Save room for dessert. The chocolate souffle melts in your mouth. But I return to the Loaded Baked Potato Soup in the Bread Bowl. Oralgasmic!

Well Worth It. A friend and I had dinner in 1800 on 9/29/12 and we both had the Applewood Smoked Baby Back Ribs with the ancho BBQ sauce (which is made in house) and they were out of this world. They came out on a huge platter and they were sliced and stacked like lincoln logs and drizzled with the bbq sauce. I think they were some of the best ribs I have ever had. You definitely have to try them out!

Walked right in on a Friday night about 1 hour before they closed (9 pm). Had amazing attention from the waitress, hostess, and even the bartender came over to take our drink order and was super nice and made awesome drinks! We ordered crab cakes and marinated crab claws – both awesome! The crab cakes were the kind you hope for when ordering – no filler, lots of meat! Wedge salad was good, then we asked for our filets to be as spicy as possible as we like spicy food. Perfectly cooked, seasoned strong the way we like it (maybe others wouldn’t but that is how we requested it). Topped it all of with praline cheesecake – don’t skip it – truly a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Highly recommend it as I have eaten at all the other places in town. Most folks admit never even trying it. Very overlooked gem.
