Buttercup cupcakes are exceptional. Our family gets a dozen for special occasions; and have been there many times. They also have a red velvet VEGAN option. Many flavors, can order ahead, cake pop option, and beautiful presentation. I’ve walked into work with buttercup cupcakes and the staff instantly smiled. In shop seating is nice too. Lots of icing, but I expect that in a cupcake boutique setting. My fav: Peanut butter (chocolate cake with peanut butter cream cheese icing). YUMMY!!
Yummy cupcakes, but rude staff. The cupcakes are delicious, but I am not a fan of the overly sweet and thick icing. I just scrape most of it off, no big deal. My issue with the place are the employees. I have been many times, and not once have I felt welcomed. The staff lack in customer service and personality. Enough so, that i stopped going. The owner I guess is ok with this, because I cannot imagine she wouldn’t have a clue!
I have no idea why this place is rated at 77%. The cupcakes here are incredible – both the icing and the cake are spot-on. Yes, they are generous on the icing. You are paying $3+ for a cupcake, do you want to get your money’s worth or not? Every time I’ve had it, the icing was fresh and the cakes were moist. My personal favorite is the birthday cake, followed by the red velvet. The wedding and carrot variants are average. The people that work there are friendly. Keep up the good work!

Delicious! Friendly service, great atmosphere. They have holiday flavors, which is nice! The gingerbread is to die for. The frosting is plentiful, but it’s up to you how much frosting you eat; that’s on you, reviewers. At least this bakery doesn’t use shortening in their frosting like every other bakery in Shreveport Bossier. It makes for a creamier frosting that doesn’t leave a terrible film on your mouth. Great bakery. Worth the trip.
Great cupcakes BUT…. All their cupcakes are soft and delicious BUT the only problem is their frosting is ALWAYS too sweet 🙁 wish they would adjust their sweetness. Other than that, I love it. I suggest the salted caramel 😀
