A very good cupcake for the lover of creamy, sweet frosting. As you can read in the reviews it tends to be the frosting that divides people on Buttercups. I’m in the camp that it is a bit too sweet creating a one note flavor profile. Most of their cupcakes I have tried have been moist with good cake flavor, better than most. You can, I have, removed some of the frosting to balance out the sweetness, not a hard thing to do, but I understand those that prefer less sugar.
