I suppose it’s ok for the Junior League set!. I could tell from first walking in that it was definitely not my kind of place . . as the Junior League-ers were out in full force.Overpriced sandwiches of questionable quality . . . snooty staff. . . and you can imagine the rest. Muffaletta’s on po-boy bread? Come on! Might be OK to call it a muffaletta po-boy . .but if you are going to put it on the menu as a Muffaletta, it should be a real one . .on the correct bread! I saw other diners with the shrimp po-boys and have to agree with another reviewer that they looked pretty skimpy on shrimp. Yet the place was real PROUD of them, if menu price is any indication. $12.95? I can get a real meal for the most places.

You call that a shrimp poboy????. I ordered the fried shrimp poboy and it only had 5 shrimp on it. Yes, that’s right -5 shrimp!!! I took the 2 shrimp from one half and put on the other half. I’m from South Louisiana and I’m used to having a real shrimp poboy where the shrimp are falling out of the sandwich because there are so many!!!

Wonderful Market. I recently ate lunch at Cush’s Market and was very impressed by how good the food was. I started off with a cup of tomato basil soup that had a really nice flavor to it. I then had the Italian Sausage Po’boy. What a delicious sandwich that was. Not only was the bread fresh, but the sausage was very tender and juicy. And the sauce that went with it was very flavorful. It was the best Italian sausage sandwich that I’ve ever had. I finished off my meal with a red velvet cupcake that was out of this world. I highly recommend Cush’s Market. Not only do they make great food, but they serve it to you in a very timely manner. They also sell some very tasty treats such as caramel, toffee, and popcorn in their aisles.

Cush’s not so great chickensalad. My two granddaughters & myself had heard about Cush’s so we wanted to try it out. We had to sit outside in the hot in the direct sun at noontime. I am in a wheelchair so it was very hard to even get through the eating area and out the back door to the hot spot. The chicken salad was NOT good. It was like chicken pudding with one grape in the entire sandwich. I couldnt stand the flat taste & didnt eat mine. One of my granddaughters had it also and she said it wasnt good and was too mushy and tasteless. Our visit was not a pleasant one, so good luck. I know ill not spend that much on a sandwich like that again.
