Reuben Sandwich. If you’ve never been to a real deli like Katz’s this would seem like a good enough sandwich. Unfortunately if you have been to a real deli outside of Shreveport it’s very apparent that this is not a top notch Reuben… Not even close. No it’s more like something you’d make at home with store bought not Deli bought ingredients. The rye bread lacked flavor and seemed like a store bought variety as opposed to a bakery made type. Same with the corned beef. While I wasn’t expecting it to be made on site like a traditional deli would I was expecting higher quality especially for the price. The Swiss cheese suffered the same fate, low quality not enough of it. The thousand island they substitute for Russian dressing is also of a low store bought quality, ditto the sauerkraut. I will acknowledge as most every review has stated, this is a local family owned shop in business since ’79. They seem like sweet people and as their rating reflects they are well loved. I won’t take that away from them but if you know real deli sandwiches and expect that quality, you will leave disappointed.

WOW!. The very freshest deli style sandwiches – bread toasted just right. I enjoy the one armed bandit – great taste and I love the people that run it – the deli is always clean and the owners are always postivie and upbeat – they let you know they appreciate your business – you can tell they enjoy their work and serving the local market. . I have been eating there for 15+ years and drive from Bossier City to get my favorite deli sandwich. Great deli-style sandwich for larger families – servies 6-8. Get there early – lunch time is busy – Also for holidays they make a beautiful, great tasting holiday tray.
GREAT DELI!!. The best deli it Shreveport!!! It is a little small so get there early during lunch!! The bread is soft but crusty and just the right amount of meat and side dressed perfect! a 8 out of 10!! 5x better than any chain sub shop!!
Gets pretty busy during lunch so best to call ahead and hit drive thru. Great local mngmt. Please support this local business before you think about subway.
Best Sandwich shop in the ArkLaTex. You haven’t had a sandwich until you’ve had a Deli Casino sandwich.!. You can choose one of their signature sandwiches right off the menu or create your own just the way you like it. I have been enjoying these delicious sandwhiches for 16 years now and continue to stop in at leat once a week. Deli Casino has such a nice friendly and fun atmosphere. Every time I bring a friend or family member, they fall in love too. You can’t find a better place for lunch.
