Typical of Shreveport / Bossier Chinese buffets the Dragon has mostly passable food for a good price but nothing memorable or outstanding. The highlight of the buffet are two chicken dishes, the wings and the Miami Chicken. The wings are fried but not battered and have jalapeno slices cooked with them. The Miami Chicken is a wok fried sweet / spicy concoction with onion, very tasty. The parking lot has recently been repaired and painted, it needed it BAD! The inside still needs some TLC. Booth seats are torn / worn, the carpet is past its prime. Service is typically friendly, the food temperature better than most buffets. Unfortunately a reviewer had to say they have the best Chinese in town, so far from accurate that you can’t take their observations seriously. If you are driving through on I-20 please don’t stop expecting great food. For better Chinese food continue down Pines Rd. to The Great Wall (not a buffet)

The Very Best Chinese Food in Shreveport/Bossier City. My family really enjoys both the buffet and the take out from Dragon Buffet. The food on the buffet was fresh and tasted great. Excellent variety of seafood, chicken, beef and pork dishes. The service perfect and anything we needed our server brought to us without us even having to ask for it. Really a wonderful place, and I will continue to recommend it to all my friends.
I like it as a casual, during the week kind of place to go with the family, but not a date place.
