  Now for the rarest of all reviews, a positive review for a fast food chain! I’m not saying this is great food, not even a great sandwich, just far superior to Subway, and as good or better than most chain sandwich places, especially the local ones. In my picture from a year ago you can see they don’t skimp on the ingredients including the meat! You’d have to pay extra at Subway to get this much meat on a sub, bringing the cost in line with Firehouse. The bread is far better than their rivals too, soft but with enough texture to hold together even with dressing on top. Sadly Shreveport doesn’t have a great deli, thou Jason’s does a great job for a chain. That leaves things wide open for Firehouse, just wish they knew how to market themselves!

  Well, I guess our review here is this places first in almost 2 years. JG score from us this visit of 3.6/10 (+1.5 for a good sandwich, 0 really for atmosphere, +1 for price, +1.1 for Fountain Diet Dr Pepper in those cool 100 option machines, 0 for service and 0 for we probably won’t return.The food was good. We got the #4 Italian and it was a good sandwich that was hot, soft as in texture, and quite good. Not the best sandwich we have ever had but still a very good one. Our meal came with a bag of chips and a pickle. It was good. The atmosphere was crowded and loud. Fireman theme decor too. Lots of windows.Price is reasonable and easily under our $15 goal.They have Diet Dr Pepper and you can flavor it with different options from one of those cool 100 something or whatever option machines…they get a 1.1 for this machine.Service was only typical….nothing special.This is a good sandwich. We will probably not come back here though…..not because it wasn’t good but not BAM enough to get us back.

  I love Firehouse Subs! I will never eat subway again. I don’t know how anyone would ever go back to Subway after trying firehouse. Now if firehouse goes up in price anymore it will be too rich for my blood. But in comparison to subway you get way more bang for your buck at Firehouse Subs. And they just taste better!oh yeah I like the engineer.

  Great sandwich. Sandwiches are always loaded w/meat and absolutely delicious! They also have this red drink exclusive to their restaurant that tastes great if you mix it with sprite, try it!

  Yum Yum. There was so muck meet on #11 that I couldn’t finnesh it, but its pricey. Next time I will give something else a try.
