My favorite place in all ways take my whole family
New Favorite Chinese Takeout. We stumbled across this little strip mall Chinese place in West Shreveport and decided to give it a try. The Sizzling Rice and House Special soups are absolutely world-class. Spoke to the owner/cashier who reported that they make their own fresh chicken stock in small batches every day, as well as their sauces. This explains the fresh taste. We also had the Happy Family which lived up to its name with flavorful sea scallops. The service was exceptional, as one might expect from a family business. The Singapore Rice Noodles had a nice spicy kick to them. All in all, a great experience. I really don’t know what took us so long to discover the Great Wall. If you’re staying near the airport, or are out in the Pines Road area, you really should give them a try!
It is AMAZING! When you want quality food and great service this is the place to go. Best Chinese in town without a doubt.
We were in town for business and were looking for something quick and good. We happened into Great Wall and we are so happy we did. The food was excellent and the service from Bridgette was top notch. The soupss are to die for, especially the hot and sour soup. The shrimp in both the Hunan and Kung Pao dishes were big and juicy. We live more than four hours away in New Orleans and wish we would have more reasons to go to Shreveport. We would be at Great Wall every time. Bravo!
I live an hour away in Longview Tx and must eat here when in town. The freshest food here. If you want buffet go down the road. Only made to order perfection here. And the egg drop soup has the be the most flavorful I have ever had. LOVE this place
I just love the Great Wall. I grew up with the Restuarant, to all new customers, you’ll like it.
Just plain ol good chinese food done really well. Service was mildly sketchy but the issue was corrected immediately.Food was fresh and freshly cooked. Cooked well without being over/under done.I had the shrimp with garlic sauce and it was deliciously spicy, the egg roll was crispy outside and soft inside just the way you want it. Hot and sour soup was outstanding.The owner circulated throughout the dining room visiting each table while I was there. It was clear that I was among the few people who were not regulars. I intend for this to change.
