Its the ONLY thing around this part of town. Easy to get to from the interstate. Its an old dive – but really vintage. I loved the atmosphere. Its not your typical place – in a good way. I had the shrimp buster, and it was good. Not a lot of flavor from the sandwich. Its about 6 shrimp pounded flat, breaded and served on French bread. The sauce you dip it in is pretty good – so the marriage of the two works. The fries were really good – and word is the onion rings are better. The food isnt spectacular- but it is good. Ill be back.

Herby K’s is a must every time I go back home to Shreveport, LA. Great atmosphere and the shrimp buster is a must try if you’ve never been! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
Great spot with a lot of culture, right off the interstate. Good food to boot ! Nice local flavor. Seafood, hamburgers, ect. Bar and or patio eating options. Try it out of you are on the area. Known for their Shrimp Buster and Onion Rings.
Been going here since I was a little girl and it just keeps getting better. Oysters are always fresh. Po boys are delicious. Can’t get enough. I take all of my out of town family and friends when they visit and they always want to come back for Herby-K’s.
Eating in a time capsule. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Go early if you going to go in the evening because people love this place and you will wait. The food and service is worth the wait. I go on a monthly bases. I visit and eat at a lot of restaurants, by far this is one of the best.
Cool place, good food….I’ll go back again. I am from Baton Rouge and am in Shreveport for my job. I was searching for a good place to eat, and I found Herby-K’s online so I thought I’d give it a try. I had a cup of crawfish etouffe’ and a shrimp/oyster poboy. Both were very good. They were ready fairly quickly too. The french bread was super fresh and yummy.Thanks!
