Average Joes. Been to eat twice. Family was not overwhelmed. Service was a bit slow. Took a while to get the check. Food was good and nice portents. Not loud or overcrowded seating. You could tell that the owners wanted the customers to feel the Chinese flavor. The walls, fish tank and accents were relaxing and amusing.
Nice place, definitely should try it out, won’t be disappointed

Love it!,. We’ve eaten here for almost 15 years. Food is always fresh and tasty. I’ve never had a bad meal from IC. The lo mein is delicious, and certainly enough to share. Highly recommended!
A girl wants a bowl of comfort for dinner, too!. Imperial is a Shreveport staple. The atmosphere is pleasant. The food is consistent: My veggies are always crunchy! Yay! Nothing worse than soggy veggies, if you ask me.My one complaint: They only serve that delicious, creamy chowder at lunch. What a drag! But it DOES make it kind of special.
Almost 1x a week. Eat here almost once a week…love the cashew chicken, with fried chicken wing (instead of egg/spring roll)…great crab rangoon and the chicken chowder is pretty dang good…service is usually always speedy and food out pretty quick…makes for a good fast lunch
Bad Lunch. We went for lunch late Sunday afternoon and we were less than impressed. IC only had one server on duty; one person for seven tables ( twenty five customers) doesn’t lead to great service. Our dining experience started off with dirty silverware – spoons with dried-on food. Our appetizer of fried wonton was greasy and barely warm – it also wasn’t fried wonton but was fried dumplings. My companions enjoyed their fried rice but my order of Mongolian beef left much to be desired. I thought the portion I was served was not in keeping with the price. And that was the weirdest tasting Mongolian beef that I have ever experienced. After a few bites, I was glad the portion was so stingy. I just don’t understand why everyone raves about this place.
