DONT NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Yesterday i went to imperial wonk and the older lady took my plate because i was done and put my uneaten egg roll on the buffet…..and then when we complained about it she denied it and said she did not do this. Total of 7 people saw her do this.

October 20215 Update:Yet another Chinese buffet that can’t sustain quality food. I’m giving up on giving a Chinese buffet in the area a positive review, when within a year or two it will change. Even the last couple of times we had the once very good delivery we’ve been dissatisfied. I can no longer recommend this place, it’s just too inconsistent. Get Takeout Or Delivery – Yes Delivery!. The buffet isn’t bad, nothing special, but the take out food is good, really good! And with a $20 minimum order, Free delivery on dinner! Tonight I had the spicy scallops and vegetables and the hot and sour soup. Both were delivered very hot and were extremely tasty! The big hit thou was the shrimp fried rice, just awesome, some of the best I’ve had! Way better than anything on their buffet, they really ought to consider going to table service. The portions were huge and everything was piping hot and delivered quick too! I only wish I knew this years ago…15 Feb, 2012Imperial Wok has been around a long time. Over the years it’s had it’s ups and downs. After giving up on dining here a few years back I gave it another shot a few months ago. Since then I’ve had the lunch buffet several times and have been pleased enough with it to return. Don’t get me wrong it’s not the kind of place you drive out of your way to go to, but in Southern Hills it a decent lunch spot. Its just $6.75 for the lunch buffet. They keep the buffet stocked and the food temp is good. They usually have a grilled item or 2 like pork chops or chicken that’s a nice addition to the regular Chinese fare. Friendly staff and plenty of room make it comfortable even when busy. I haven’t had the dinner buffet in quite a while but it’s inexpensive as well.
Restaurant review. We tried this restaurant for the first time. The food was ok, some of it was kind of cold. It was clean and the buffet area was well stocked. the only problem that we had was the service. We had to continually ask for more refills, more napkins, and no one checked to see that we needed anything. The servers stayed behind the center counter and never came to our area until we got their attention. We may come back in the future to see if things have changed, but until then we will go elsewhere……..
Great place!. We have been looking for a great Chinese restaurant in the area & this is it!! Very clean with great prices & really good food!
Restaurant review. The food on the lunch buffet is decent, though not great. All of the orders that are called in from their menu to pickup are exquisite. Do not think that the lunch/dinner buffet is their best food as most people I know call in orders to pickup or delivery and are quite satisfied. I have called in orders here for years now and their food has rarely disappointed me.
The worst Chinese food I have ever had. Everything fried here tastes like old fish. Obviously they were using old oil that really needs to be changed. The lo-mein doesn’t resemble any lo-mein I have ever seen. It looked and tasted like noodles with black pepper and that’s it. I really tried to like it, sampled almost everything, and spit most of it into napkins. This is NOT what Chinese food is supposed to taste like. Thank god I didn’t bring anyone here.
