Today I ordered to go for myself and 2 coworkers. I had been there only once before and the food and service was excellent! The sushi rolls are bigger and had more pieces than every other place I’ve been to and it was very fresh. One coworker got the shrimp fried rice and it was enough for 2 people and she said it tasted AMAZING. My other coworker got the udon vegetable soup and it was enough for at least two people, and she also said it was very good! They serve their salads with a ginger dressing, which was not creamy like I’ve had at other places, but was still very flavorful and yummy. A pleasant surprise was seeing a waitress there named Ara, who I’ve known from other restaurants. She has always been a very friendly and pleasant face when she has waited on me before. Overall I highly recommend this place! Please Shreveport let’s keep this place in business especially since Sake closed!
Great prices, great service (very friendly), and the food was incredible! We had the bento boxes, and were 100% satisfied. It’s not in the heart of town, but give it some love!
Although it’s kind of in an obscure location (like you can only find it if you know it’s there lol), this little gem is by far my favorite sushi spot in Shreveport-Bossier; it’s very consistent and fresh . The hibachi is great as well, so I can take my friends there who aren’t sushi fans but like hibachi style Japanese:). Service is wonderful and they are such sweet people-family owned and operated. Highly recommend!!
This restaurant needs more love. Although it lingers on the distant outskirts of the Youree drive restaurant chain restaurant wasteland, it has a lot to offer. It is a great value, has good food and the service is fantastic. I always get the bento teriyaki salmon med rare and it is more food than I can eat. All of the bento boxes I have tried have been good and all I would order again. I just like salmon. The sushi is good as well which the wife always gets. Like I said before the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
Wasn’t expecting a lot, but wow. Really enjoyed the meal which consisted of miso, ginger salad, and about 50 pcs of various sushi. Enjoyed the extremely palette pleasing experience. So much flavor. Personal favorite was the eel roll. So good forgot to take the picture until after we finished eating.
The miso soup is perfect as is the ginger dressing on the salad. The chicken in the teriyaki bento box is so tender and perfectly flavored. The rice is well-cooked and well-seasoned. The only negative is the the way the crab is cut for the California roll. They use a lot of crab, but I find the presentation and texture a drawback. I just don’t prefer the crab to be stringy. Just personal preference.
This is my favorite place to get sushi and my bento boxes in the Shreveport/Bossier area. The staff are always really nice and courteous. One day, I placed an order during lunch hour but an emergency happened at work. The end result was that I wasn’t able to pick up my meal until 3 hours later (pass lunch hour.) I came by to pick up my food to discover that they did not throw it out and that my food was kept fresh! The icing on the cake was that they still charged me the lunch special price!
