We went here on a recommendation…….it turned out to be bad recommendation.JG score of -0.5/10(-1 for food, -1 for atmosphere, +1 for price, +0.5 for Diet Dr Pepper in a plastic bottle, 0 for typical service and 0 for we never will return)The General Tso was bad, overlooked and too slimy and sweet. The egg roll inside was like a mush. It was all just bad. We ate maybe half each and threw it away.The atmosphere was bland…walls and floors and tables and chairs and not much more. All it needed was some windows and booths and prisoners to finish out the bland eating area.At least the price was under $15 easy.Diet Dr Pepper was only in a bottle. They did have fountain Diet Coke.The service was typical only.This was a waste of a trip for us to Shreveport.
CollegeCollegeCollege. I think alot of people don’t realize that this resturaunt is mainly for college kids on the go who obviously can’t afford much. It’s extremely delicious, especially for it’s low prices, and the staff is so polite. I myself am a college student, and I stop by frequently for their sweet and sour chicken. It’s pretty much the only thing I eat besides the piles upon piles of ramen I have stored in my dorm.
Jade Express-yuummm. I personally love Jade Express. The chicken on a stick (on menu) is yummy!! I order it everytime I go there! Their combination fried rice is also yummy with some soy and duck sauce added. They have wonderful egg rolls and I love the little sugar donuts. Great food for the price and the people are so nice!!
Location * Location * Location. The Jade is popular among LSUHSC staff, but the food is really mediocre. It’s fast and filling, but I would never make a special trip for this shopping mall quality Asian food…
Great place!. I love this restaurant. The food is fresh and staff very friendly. I always order the steamed mixed grill with sauce on the side. The portions are generous and very tasty. I highly recommend this place. Bonus: they just newly remodeled the inside, so the ambience is a bit nicer.
Drove across town with high hopes. Dont believe the hype. Cheap quality bland food. This place isnt any better than or maybe even worse than the mall. Everything was disappointing accept the fried dumpling sauce. It was really good. Too bad everything thing else was gross.
Amazing food. Good portions. A lot of variability of choices. They make your food fast if you order from their menu. Good presentation of their food as well. Final verdict: 4/5 stars just because their restaurant is nothing to look at but their food is great.
