Loved it!!!. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in a cozy, romantic booth. The waitstaff was very friendly and catered to our needs. I also observed the same behavior towards other patrons. My husband had a ribeye with crabmeat and I had the lambchops. It was all cooked to perfection. We are from Dallas and have dined in some of the nicest restaurants. This experience rates with the best of them. The ambiance was perfect for our romantic evening. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I along with several friends went to Jimmy’s for New Years Eve. All in all it was the worst dining experience I and the rest of the group had ever experienced. To start it was a fixed menu and price. The food was very subpar and the waiter was horrible. I have had less expensive and much better food at several restaurants in Shreveport/Bossier. The price of $75.00 per person was ridiculous for the food offering. The portions were actually insultingly small and ill prepared. Not only will I not go back but I will caution others to think twice about eating there. I would have said dining but it really isn’t a dining experience.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Jimmy’s because they were one of the few steakhouses open on Sunday. Service was the best I’ve had from any restaurant. Our waiter Sione was very attentive but didn’t make us feel as if he was constantly pestering. He was also very knowledgable of the menu and made sure we were completely satisfied. My girlfriend and I both ordered the prime rib, and she said it was the best steak she’d ever tasted. Bar prices are fair; I was actually expecting them to be higher – a glass of Basil Hayden’s was only $7. Overall, ifyou’re looking for great food, great service in a romantic atmosphere, I definitely recommend Jimmy’s.

Not worth the $$$. Steak is only fair quality and was over cooked. Salad wilted .should have gone to 2johns or silver star

Has potential but not quite there.. Ate at Jimmy’s while staying at Margaritaville. Service was great and the restaurant is pretty. The food, however, needs some work. Starters of bread, butter and the soup flight were all very good. Hubby got the filet which, although flavorful, was nearly well-done even though he requested it medium. A side of overcooked au gratin potatoes was hard and dry. I had the mahi-mahi with a sauce over bland rice. The fish was ok but later that evening upset my stomach. The restaurant is new so maybe with some time, it will improve, but based on this experience, we would not return.

Outstanding!. A great new addition to a very limited fine dining scene. Situated at the far corner of the Margaritaville Casino you loose the whole casino vibe as you walk through the doors. Our server Wade and his assistant Ervin did an impeccable job, pacing the meal perfectly. The bread basket served with 3 different flavored butters was a nice start. The Portobello mushroom appetizer was terrific, they are marinated in balsamic vinegar, grilled and topped with Gorgonzola. Next up the Louisiana Seafood Gumbo is spectacular. I could easily make a meal of it! Our entrees, the Down South Bouillabaisse and Pompano were great. I’m so glad to see a real seafood restaurant with much more than just the regular local fair. They fly in fresh fish, the clams, mussels, and crab were equally fresh and perfectly cooked. The pompano was the best fish I’ve had since leaving Florida, the pickled watermelon mango and papaya salsa was incredibly good. We had no room for dessert, the portions are extremely generous for fine dining. One tip: walk in the back door, down the river walkway to avoid the noise and cigarette smoke from the casino.
