Waste of my time and money. Ugh very disappointed. Had the in laws in town for a week and someone mentioned this bakery so I went and got some apple turnovers and cherry I think they were I had gotten some of the cookies and a few other items. But basically after spending so much you would think they would taste like golden eggs.No. The turnovers were so dry and crumbly and no taste what so ever my FIL said and he didn’t eat them the kids didn’t eat the cookies dry as well said that gram makes better. So needless to say I wont be going back. And tossed out a lot of money in the process.

Birthday cookies. I was very disappointed. Ordered decorative cookies for my son’s birthday – iced sugar cookies. The cookies looked good and were wrapped well. I was looking forward to eating one, but the cookie and the icing did not taste good. Both just tasted sweet… Not creamy or buttery, nothing. Staff is very nice and displayed items are very pretty.

Sweet Tooth. The cookies and desserts here are a favorite of ours.Inside is nice as well as the tiny patio.

This is a cakery, not a bakery. If you want a pie or cake come here. If you’re looking for all kinds of artisanal bread…you’re SOL. Shreveport doesn’t have a real bakery. There’s no awesome baguettes, no batards, no ryes, pumpernickels, Jew bagels, decent ciabattas, decent kaisers, brioche, focaccia, etc. None of that exists in Shreveport. Your best bet is to go to Brookshires and hope you can find a sourdough or half baked baguette. And that will taste like it was made by someone who makes minimum wage, not a trained baker.

Try the evapii. There’s a Bosnian/Serbian sandwich on the menu called evapii – it’s like a buttery, homemade pita pocket filled with spicy sausage, grilled onions, tomato and some sort of eggplant spread. It’s really unusual and, while it may make you want a nap afterwards, it is delicious.
