Lila’s is no longer located on Olive street. It has moved to the Boardwalk in Bossier and no longer serves as a deli.
This is not good. Expensive. Brookshire’s bakery makes much better cupcakes.
YUMMMMMMMM !!!. This is my second winter in Shreveport and last winter I tried out bakeries in town, loved them. But this place is special. The King Cake is THE BEST in town. Something really cool about this spot. I’ve been twice now, and feel the same way each time. It’s genuine. A gem. The other places look like bakeries, and you won’t be disappointed….but Lilah’s you will remember. And plot when you will return. These folks have a gift.
No complaints. I’ve been going to Lilah’s since before they were officially open; TK graciously agreed to make my wedding cake before he had even secured a location for his shop. I gave him a picture of a cake and just asked him to make it, leaving the details to him. I was stunned when I first saw it at the reception and left speechless when I tasted it–completely flawless!I frequent Lilah’s for lunch and have tried numerous dishes and desserts and cannot find anything wrong. I love the spicy chicken sandwich–it’s an interesting Indian take on spicy chicken. I absolutely love the chicken salad sandwich. Their desserts are delicious without being too sweet, something TK credits his European heritage for.I HIGHLY recommend Lilah’s for it’s food, it’s people, and it’s atmosphere.
My first visit…. I had heard the buzz about Lilah’s for quite some time, and finally decided to check them out. I got a 1/2 dozen cupcakes, Italian Cream, Carrot Cake, and German Chocolate. They were light, full of flavor, and just the right amount of icing. DELISH!!! Will definitely go back to try the sandwiches and other items.
Love at Lilah’s. Lilah’s reminds me of that show CHEERS where everyone knows your name. You walk in and people all say hi. I love the Veggie Panini. It is spicy but not overwealming. It is a treat to have a dessert there. Large selection of cupcakes and cookies. TK will evern make a special dessert ( low fat cheesecake). We love the King Cakes and every year buy one to mail to our daughter in Illinois.
Good value, awesome desserts. I have been going to Lilah’s for about 2+ years now and have tried the majority of their desserts. Their sandwiches are nice and light, and the pizza is surprisingly good. My favorite desserts are the eclairs, tres leche cake, and the cupcakes. They have especially come in handy for sugar free treats for diabetic co-workers and family. It’s also a nice touch when they remember you from previous visits.
