This meal was not up to longhorn standards pleaseorder 3 filet flo’s med all 3 cold 2 end up med & 1 well done hard as a rock order 3 baked potatoes out pm baked potatoes had potatoes so they gave cold french fries on 2 &1 cold as ice mashed potatoes. It was 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon! It wasn’t packed! Insult to injury manager didn’t look at ticket/order decided bring out mashed potatoes hot afterwards?, loaded which wasn’t correct
Enjoyed my first taste. After trying the LongHorn in Monroe my husband was eager to try the local one. We hit the place pretty early, probably just missing the lunch rush. Most of the clientele were older couples and it was pretty peaceful. Our server was a really delightful and friendly lady that made great suggestions. The shrimp we got was the best I have ever eaten, it was literally the first time I got properly cooked shrimp in Shreveport. The bread was hot and fresh and both our steaks arrived perfectly cooked. It is a bit expensive, so I hope whenever I do go back the experience is just as good.
EXCELLENT. My husband and I drove in from fort worth texas and spent our wedding anniversary in Shreveport- Bossier city. We dont have any LongHorn Steakhouses within 3 hours from us. My father in laws steak was taking a while to cook and Chef Tony came out of the kitchen to talk to my father in law and explain to him what was going on and to find out exactly what my father would prefer with his steak. My steak came out well done and I asked for medium well (they made the steak over.) When both steaks were brought out for me and my father in law Chef Tony stood by, watched us cut into our steaks to make sure it was cooked to our approval. When we finally dove in the STEAKS WERE GREAT & so was the SPECIAL BBQ Sauce they make in a bowl with a hot stone to keep it warm. My husband and I recieved an anniversary dessert and Chef Tony suprised my inlaws with a dessert for all their trouble. Ironicly it was their wedding anniversary 2 days prior.
Terrible Terrible Service!. We had one of these in the town I grew up in and I always like it, so when we re-located this was a place we expected to be good. Wrong. The first time we went the waitress largely ignored us because she had a big party to tend to, it took us 30 minutes to flag down our check (after we asked someone to find her) she had a nasty attitude with us. I have worked as a server and a front of house manager so I try to be understanding and an easy customer but there is no excuse for the hostility we received. Because of that we didn’t go back for the better part of a year. When we did finally return we had to wait a very long time to even be acknowledged but the manager noticed this and the rest of the meal was fine so we went again a few weeks later. Huge mistake. We waited forever for every part of our meal and when we finally got our entrees my mate’s steak was undercooked (he likes it well done-terrible I know haha) so he them asked to throw it on the grill a little longer. I finished my dinner and they Still hadn’t brought the steak back. At this point we asked to just get a to go box for it (since we had already been there for well over an hour) and another 15 minutes still go by before they bring back the same steak so I have no idea what took so long. The waitress was apologetic but never got a manager and didn’t take a penny off our bill despite waiting an hour and a half to get food we had to take home. When I got home I took the online survey and a district manager apologized and said they would look into it and send a gift card if we would give them another chance. Well it’s been 6 months and still waiting on the gift card so the company fails all the way up to corporate. Seriously there are a number of better steak houses in the area so stick with those. Texas Road House always has Great service and even better food. Outback same if not better quality food and better service and many many others. But if you don’t mind waiting up to two hours for your food and do go, the steak is not bad and their stuffed mushrooms are really good but it’s just not worth the wait.
Great Experience. The Steaks are Epic and the management will definitely make sure your experience is one to remember.
Not again. Service and food took too long. The waiter wasn’t busy enough to excuse his inadequacies. I got a burger, and wasn’t offered condiments. It was just a plain burger and bun. The fries were thrown onto the plate, in no form, and there weren’t enough. My boyfriend got something with lump crab, which was a few dollars extra, but there were maybe 2 pieces. Wouldn’t go again for sure.
We were promptly seated at 9pm. Our bread, drinks, and order were taken promptly. It took AN HOUR for our food to get to the table. Not exaggerating. In that time, a table of 15 was set up next to us with screaming children throwing a birthday party. Waiter didnt even bother coming over to explain why the food was taking so long or to say how much longer it was going to take. Food was decent, Mac and cheese was gross. Would rather go to Roadhouse and be in and out in under an hour.
