This place is terrible. My wife’s fish tacos were cold and I’ve had better burgers from truck stops. Food took about 40 minutes to an hour. Bill came in wrong. Margaritaville is usually upbeat and happy, this one is sad and depressing. I really don’t have anything nice to say about the place. Have been to many other Margaritavilles and this one doesn’t measure up.
I stay at the hotel regularly for business. I have tried this restaurant twice. It was terrible both times. Most recently I had the combo fajitas to go. The beef was not edible and the chicken was not terrible but far from good. The tortillas were given to me ice cold and the rice was in a bag that had a date on it from 3 days prior. (not sure if that idicate when it was made but this should not be shared with customers).
We were waiting for a waitress for over 25 minutes and there was only one other table in the restaurant and 4 waitresses. My husband had to ask the girl who sat us to send a waitress. The waitress walked by us with no acknowledgment at all, the hostess took our order and brought our drinks. This place so sucks!
Buffets Buffet. Ate there for a late lunch on Saturday, March 29, 2014. For $25 per person, the food was fair, nothing to brag about. The service was so bad that it made the meal a complete disaster. We even asked to speak with the manager. She listened to our comments with an expression on her face that said she could care less then walked off. The service still did not improve. There are much better places to eat in Shreveport.
Worse than Terrible Service!!! :(. Can’t tell you if the food or drinks are any good or not….because we sat there for over 30 minutes and never saw a waitress/waiter!! Even asked the hostess twice if she could tell us who would be waiting on our party of 5. Only received two menus – not sure why. Wait staff would walk by us and not even look our direction. Never was asked if we wanted drinks, food, nothing. After feeling invisible for over 30 minutes I got up and went out on the Boardwalk and ate at Hooters (which was very good – and the service was great too). Other people inside the restaurant did not appear to be happy either. This was last Friday, and the table near us had ordered the all you could eat catfish – didn’t seem very pleased with their choice. I have ate at Margaritaville in Las Vegas many times – and it was excellent – However, I do not recommend the one in LA. 🙁 very disappointed 🙁
Paying For Disapointment. MARGARTITVILLE SUCKS!!!!The food was so bland and i was very disapointed due to the extremely high prices. Not only was the food bland, but the portions were very small. Our server was very sweet and professional. He was the only good part of our expierence. The music is very repetative. Baja fish tacos were excellent! The service was average. We waited too long for the appetizer and main entree.
