One of my regular lunch favorites when visiting Shreveport. Everything we have tried has been very good. Never a bad meal or bad experience. Service is fast and friendly. Always reliable for a good quick meal. Be sure to try their queso dip with chips. Order a side of chili to add to it. Yum! They will replenish your chips at no charge.

Went in for a Sunday lunch. Took 40+ minutes to get our food so we asked what the status was. The lady at the front said they were too busy to let us talk to a manager. We will not be back.
Worst service ever experienced at a McAllisters. It looks like its run by teenagers that have nothing better to do than talk behind the counter and waste everyone’s time. I walked out, and will never walk back.
We order online at 1030am ten….yes 10 items. I’ve been sick for two days unable to eat and was craving a spud amongst other things sent my son to retrieve this order and he came home with 4 carry out trays yes he should have double checked the order but it’s now 1224pm and my husband is on his way back home from getting the rest of our order….note to self next time I’m craving a spud I’ll settle on bodacious BBQ or somewhere else…shame on you mcalisters for screwing up a $52 order you wont get another one from this customer
Sucks. This is a wannna be St. Louis Bread Co aka Panera. Everything about this place fails. They can’t get a simple bread bowl right. Don’t waste your money.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don’t eat at a lot of chain restaurants, but recently found myself in a bind for a late dinner and McAllister’s was nearby. I wish I would have gone to Strawn’s Too, about 100 yards away, instead. It was about 7:45 p.m. and there was one staffer working the counter. She literally asked me to hold on while she sent a text message, which took three or four minutes. After she sent the text, she took a phone call, so someone from the back had to come out and help us. My muffuletta came out dry, with no olive mix. It was inedible. I would have complained to a server, but we never saw a server. On my way out, I stopped by the counter for a tea refill – they’re supposed to come around and offer you those – and guess what the person at the register was doing? Texting. Never saw any evidence of any managerial presence, whatsoever. We will not be going back.
