We have been occasional diners at Outback’s over the years, & have been pleased with the meals & service. We went on the Saturday before Father’s Day and it was a great disappointment. Our waitress was negligent & only came to our table once for drink orders, once to ask if we were done with our bread (which was cold, & not replaced), once to bring drinks ( but. no straws), once to take orders, & a final time to bring our check. The iced tea was so weak I sent mine back for something else & my husband doctored his with loads of sugar & lemon to make lemonade. The entrees took over 20 minutes to come (chucken & veggies), &-no one checked back to see if we need anything. The check took another 20 minutes of sitting & waiting. It is a shame to lose on of the options for dining in Shreveport.
I will never go back!!!! Horrible service from the hostesses. Called ahead and reserved a table for 4. When we arrived, no tables were available. While waiting a group of 6 people arrived. A table became available and the group of 6 was sat at the table instead of my group. When questioned, the response was larger groups get the larger tables. We proceeded to wait 25 mins for another table to become available.

Like it…but with limitations. This is one of those restaurants that is too popular for its own good. The menu has high and low points, but it’s seldom worth the inevitable wait. Sometimes we’ve eaten in the bar area, but mostly we call in for take away even though the pick-up area is always crowded and hard to navigate. We typically order Alice Springs Chicken, gold coast coconut shrimp, and a side pecan/blue cheese salad with the special dressing. Enough food for two people.
Service was friendly, but incredibly slow. If the place is busy forget about seeing your food for at least an hour. Been to this location twice now and my steak was way overcooked each time.
Worst service ever. I understand a 12 top on a Saturday is difficult to seat but don’t say 30 minutes when it takes nearly an hour while half the restaurant is empty! If you don’t have the personnel to manage the restaurant don’t open or hire people. Additionally, once seated there were only two loaves of bread given after numerous requests to split amongst 12 people. Them lets continue with lackadaisical service because the gratuity is guaranteed on a table this size. For a chain restaurant this is unacceptable. I’ve seen restaurants loose their franchising over things like this; of course only when the right people happen to be eating there. A solid 2 out of 10.
Average. Thats about all I can say . The steaks weren’t tender at all, the sides were bland, the service could certainly use improvement. Actually, average is a compliment in my opinion. I would much rather eat a steak at Texas Roadhouse and from now on I will.
