Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup with Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich. A butternut and pumpkin soup with honey, apple juice, cinnamon and curry. Very hearty and filling, perfect for Fall. All the veggies on the sandwich were fresh and crisp. The feta cheese and tomato basil bread really make this a flavorful sandwich that stands out from Subway and the other sandwich shops.29 Sep, 2014Power Chicken Hummus Bowl with Turkey Cranberry Flatbread. Very good salad with chicken, jalapeo hummus, cilantro, lemon and veggies. I experienced none of the issues some of the other reviews have alluded to. The flatbread was tasty as well. Check out their web site for great descriptions of each dish as well as nutritional information thats not hidden but right there in the description!
Like every Panera I’ve ever been to, but they bake the best bread in Shreveport, maybe the only bread. Lots of bakeries but they all seem to focus on cakes, cookie, pies and cupcakes. Maybe a business opportunity.
Highly disappointed. Again.. I used to eat at Panera in Arizona and I don’t recall it being this bad. I went within the first week of opening: Terrible. Sat in drive-thru FOR-EVER. Wrong order. Tasted aweful. Tried again today, several months later. This time I got the Asian Chicken Salad. Lettuce was fresh and green, not iceberg, which is a huge plus. However, the dressing was not good, the chicken had visible seasoning but was not tasty, and the crispy topping (some sort of bread-y flat crisp) tasted stale. Won’t be back again.
Not impressed. On our first visit we were not impressed at all. The soup was not hot, and the bread was so cold in the middle and hard to even try to eat. My veggie sandwich was severed on a piece of paper, like it was reheated in the microwave. the tables were dirty. Needless to say we will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. A big waste of money.
Not impressed. Had to wait a while for the staff (order taker) to finish talking to her friends and other staff about how she had worked 44 hours the last week, blah, blah, blah, before being able to order. Stop the personal conversations and take the order! After getting beverage, an employee was refilling the station but was not about to move so I could get straw, lid for cup, other condiments. Had to keep reaching around her to get what I needed and she never budged or made any effort to get out of the way. Then came our order. My half sandwich was sloppily thrown together and looked like it had slid half off the plate. The bread was okay but the sandwich ingredients were minimal. The croutons in the onion soup were uneatable. Not an overall good impression for my first trip to Panera. Won’t give it a second visit.
Go here a lot now because of the drive through convenience. So nice to now have a healthier option in the drive through food selection available on Youree. I recommend the Italian Combo. and love their latte’s.
Panera. Long wait because they are so new.. understandable. They changed their veggie cream cheese.. so gross. Their sandwiches are good.. bread bowl soup is great. Mac and Cheese is soooo good.
