Worst ever! Don’t eat here! Save your money for a good BBQ place!!
This is a real hit & miss BBQ joint. Sometimes it is OK and other times I wish I had a PB&J instead. Never excellent but average Q at best. Ribs are usually tough and a bit dry but flavor is good. I don’t know why I keep going back. I just keep hoping that they will improve their game. I recommend The Hickory Stick or Bodacious BBQ in Bossier instead.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I was displeased with the portions sizes since they were considerably less than any other visit I’d had (including the previous day)so I requested a refund. The worker was rude and so I asked that she not serve me anymore (she seemed to be upset that I requested a refund). She followed me up and down the tray line making comments as to provoke me into an argument. I continued to ignore her until eventually my patients grew short and I said something back to her. One of the members asked me to leave but never said anything to the worker for dealing with me the way she did. The general manager also said nothing. I never received an apology or anything. I was treated like I did something wrong by standing up for myself. I will never return to this place again as they have shown me that I don’t matter, and this is not somewhere I want to support or spend my money.
The food was fine when we have gone before… But I do have a problem when you call to ask the time the restaurant closes, then the staff see you drive up just to run and lock the door and turn off the open sign. We had 15 minutes left before they closed.
Almost Complete. Excellent smoked meats, The best beans you will find in the world. BUT HORRIBLE SAUCE( almost straight pickle juice )
Yum Yum. I really love this place. No bad experiences at all. Try it you will not be disapointed
Decent BBQ. I was really excited about eating bbq while on my trip to Louisiana. I had a checklist for all the things I wanted to eat while in the South. BBQ was one of them (along with catfish, grits, etc.). Well, when I heard that we were going to get BBQ from a local place I was very excited. I was craving some brisket like no other.I actually have not set foot inside this location. So I cannot review the restaurant itself. I can only tell you what the take-out was like. We had ordered brisket and pork ribs w/sauce, roasted chicken, sausage, potato salad, green beans, pork ‘n’ beans, and peach cobbler. I was disappointed in the brisket. It was dry and needed the sauce for extra flavor. The chicken had an excellent smokey flavor. The pork ribs and sausage were very flavorful. The pork ‘n’ beans tasted great. They had shredded meat in them and created a unique texture to the pork ‘n’ beans. The green beans were a bit salty for my taste. The potato salad was definitely yummy and I went back for seconds on it and the pork ‘n’ beans. I also went back for more of the peach cobbler. If only it had a scoop of vanilla ice cream it would have been even better.I don’t know what the restaurant experience would have been like, but I enjoyed what I ate. I just wish that the food wasn’t as salty as it was and that the brisket was more tender. I don’t think I’d go back for the brisket again. I’d definitely eat the sausage, ribs, or chicken for my main meal.
