I have never been treated as rude as the owner…treated our family. There is no excuse for his behavior. We walked out after his inexcusable behavior as an owner. There are many other restraurants we can go to and not be treated like trash.
Kaye Reilly. I have been here several times, the food is the bestItalian food in this area, service is fast and very attentive. Great experience. The prices are great so it is worth a trip to Mansfield Road. I would go back every time I had a yearning for Italian food and that is just about every week. Beautiful bar area.
Manicotti. I ate there on a Sunday and got there before the lunch crowd. Ordered my favorite Italian food, I am from 100% Italian heritage and of course have eaten some of the best. Unfortunately, thus was the worst I ever have eaten. The filling which should be Ricotta cheese tasted like plastic, extremely chewy and no sense of any italian spice I have ever tasted. The sauce was bland and flavorless. I literally had to force myself to eat the meal.Good luck. I hope they are able to correct before they as the prior restaurants have been forced out of business.
Never to Return. I had the most disappointing dining experience today at Roma. The food lacked flavor and the texture of the eggplant parmigiana was mushy. I honestly couldn’t tell if it was eggplant. I left the restaurant feeling like I had been robbed. I will not return nor recommend.
I’ve had better service at McDonalds.My husband ordered shrimp Alfredo..they were out of shrimp. The lobster ravioli I ordered was covered in a sauce and had some kind of imitation lobster crap tossed in. We asked for bread, only to be told sorry there wasn’t any available. A few minutes later they brought bread to the table across from us. That’s ok, the bread wasn’t even that good either. Left disappointed and hungry. Should have went somewhere else for my birthday
Oh thank YOU finally a gluten free and 100% olive oil Italian restaurant in Shreveport. The shrimp scampi was perfect (the waiter asked for it de-tailed!). My husband love the lasagna. Good and ample wine by the glass. Excellent waiter. Open Sunday night (but closed Mondays). We will be back very soon.
We need more restaurants of this caliber in Southern Hills. Loved the meatballs and spaghetti. Excellent pizza- nothing better than restaurant made pizza. I would suggest a signature drink could be developed – maybe a spiced tea with an alcohol version available. Our server Taylor was very professional and competent. Good job. Will definitely go back and try other entres. Judging by the amount of vehicles in the parking lot on a nightly basis-lots of south Shreveporters are checking out Roma’s. 5 stars
