We stopped into Vintage late one night after an event to grab a cocktail and a couple of appetizers. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly, made our drinks, and requested menus from a server. Unbeknownst to him or us, the server indicated you are not allowed to order food at the bar and was somewhat rude to us. While we didn’t mention this, we had ordered food at the bar on previous weekend visits. The menu selection wasn’t that great and were disappointed there was no longer a shrimp cocktail selection on there. We opted for the marinated crab claws, salad, and a baked potato if that says anything. The server was again somewhat rude with my girlfriend when she indicated she wanted no cheese or onions on her salad and would like the dressing on the side. This seems like a normal request to us, but he just seemed to be rolling his eyes like this was a huge chore for him. The food was decent, but not great. The olive bread they bring out before your meal was completely full of olives and you couldn’t even taste the bread due to the overpowering flavor.
Would be better if it wasn’t so smoky. But, it’s a fun place to hang out.
Happy to see the same old faces. New menu too. Just after dinner drink and dessert tonight. But back this Sunday. I’m looking forward to it.
Don’t recommend the Vintage. Save your hard-earned money and eat somewhere else or you will be sorry. Bad customer service and mediocre food for a high-priced restaurant.
Issues. The good: nice furnishings, some good food the bad: wine list on internet is not updated, prices are way too much i.e. $100 for surf and turf, everything is basically alacarte even the prices are sky high, server was okay but nothing special, salad which costs $11.99 was not to order and included about one-eighth a wedge of lettucebottomline: amateurs operating a very high price restaurant-I do not recommend. Not an event to enjoy like a great restaurant.
The steaks were overcooked and when the waiter took it back the ghetto chef started using the f word at me. We sat next to the kitchen door so I heard it all. Overpriced food with mcdonald chefs. Also, the king crab we ordered was snow crab and when we walked out Another table had the real king crab. Ghetto casino buffet food at high end price. Sad part is that we didn’t use casino coupons but real money. This was on a tuesday night a while ago.
Dont bother making a reservation… We were seated 20 mins AFTER iur scheduled time! Food is VERY expensive so service AND food should be as close to perfection as possible… But that WAS NOT the case here! I’ve had better steak & crab legs 4 a lot less money! Over-rated! Go to Joe’s CrabShack instead…
