Prices seem reasonable and the hot chocolate was good. I was a bit disappointed that chocolate beignets weren’t on the menu when I went – maybe they’re just not listed? – but their glazed selection seems to have expanded.Now we get to the weird part of my review. I don’t like most donuts, and I’m picky about beignets too. With that in mind, I wasn’t wowed by my beignets. They weren’t dry, but that’s the word my brain keeps circling back to. Maybe more glaze would’ve helped, or maybe a different flavor like the lemon coupled with some jam. I have a feeling that this is personal quirk/preference that most people won’t share, but I still felt the need to include it.
Beignets are light & fluffy, just small in size for the price. Restaurant is a small space with limited seating. The snowballs are the ones in the quart cups ( sold in local stores)
