I was happy to find a Cheddars on my way through to New Orleans. We used to go back when we lived in Illinois. No Cajun food that I saw on the menu and the cheese soup is strangely gone now. But otherwise it’s a very affordable and attractive restaurant with good food. Spasagna is still in the menu! Make sure you order some honey butter croissants before the meal. Yum. I had a Monte Cristo, which is a battered and fried sandwich, sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with raspberry jelly and a side. I got French fries and they were also great.

Poor service …….very slow kitchen!. Our family ate here while on a trip. It took us over 2 hours! And when you are traveling that is not good. There must have been problems in the kitchen. Our group had 11 people. The plates came out a few at a time. One child’s plate was completely skipped. When it did finally come out everyone else was finished eating. The waitress was new and kept apologizing.When we had first arrived there the hostess was extremely rude to us. It was as if she had a chip on her shoulder and did not want to be there that day. Bad first impression with a hostess like that.Would not eat here again ….ever.
