It’s okay…was really excited when this place opened because it’s near my home..cool ambiance inside. There’s one BIG problem for me though — I ALWAYS order snow crab rolls whenever I’m in the mood for sushi… And these guys consistently use a TON of mayonnaise ?? in their filling! Gross! As a result, I go elsewhere. Everything else I’ve had here is averagely good– just can’t get the snow crab right… So I go elsewhere.
BLAND, horrible manager. I ordered the hibachi chicken lunch order. I was given sauce with my order like a typical hibachi restaurant. My chicken was horribly bland. There was no flavor at all to the meat itself. I only ate 4 pieces of my chicken, and I tried it with both sauces. I did not order bland chicken so I could only get flavor by dipping it in sauce. I told my waitress, who was very kind, and she got the manager/restaurant owner. He is the man WITH THE LONG PONY TAIL. He told me that I ordered the chicken and that’s what I got. I told him I didn’t like the flavor and would like to get shrimp instead and I was OK with paying the difference for the shrimp lunch price. He said that I would still have to pay for both the chicken and the shrimp. My shrimp that I received was over cooked.. a lot. Very rubbery. Our kind waitress did her job very well, and she did not charge me for the chicken I did not recieve. The waitresses are nice, but the manager/owner is HIGHLY UNPLEASANT. Bland food, horrible service from upper management. Don’t eat here, unless you order sushi.
Sam. Been to all the hibachi places in town and I have to say this is by far the best place! Food is excellent, service is quick and impeccable, and all around it is a beautiful restaurant worth going to.
This place has so recently opened there wasn’t even an entry for it yet.we went there for lunch this past sunday afternoon .you can choose whether you want to sit on the Hibaci side,where foodis prepared in an entertaining way for you ,or on the Sushi side ,where you just order form the menu .we chose the sushi side .with so many of these Japanese Hibachi sushi places opening up all over Slidell in the past year or so,i was wary that this would be yet another boring and run of the mill place.but i was really impressed. the decor and the feel of the place wsa great .it was super clean ,very comfortable,homey feel.the staff was super friendly and polite.i ordered the acocado salad with ginger dressing miso soup and the age tofu.all of it was absolutely delicious .and the food was an art form in a gorgeous ,artistic way my dad ordered the sashimi and it came out in a huge boat shaped container with fluorescent lights and a neat display of shells and assorted chopped vegetables to look like a treasure chest.it was really cool and creative. and all of it was absolutely delicious .the ginger dressing in particular were extremly flavorful -they can be blang at some other places. i can’t wait to come back when i’m not on a law carb diet and try some other options . they had tons of rolls and entrees plus lots of hibabchi options and kids meals i will defintely be back.
Pricey but worth it!. The prices were very high s/a 23.00 for a steak plate. However, I feel the entertainment of the hibachi chef, the quality of food, the atmosphere, and the service were unparalleled for hibachi in the area. It was definitely worth the price.
Sushi is fresh and awesome! ! Best hibachi and sushi restaurant in the town!
Overpriced. Vey expensive and the rolls are very small!
