Easy to lose in the Shuffle…Hard to Replicate. Chinese eats are a dime a dozen in Slidell($5 buffets)What Imperial Chopsticks lacks in notoriety they make up for in quality cuisine. With some recipe’s being straight out of Hong Kong via award winning chefs. People less familiar with Chinese food would be quick to dismiss a long standing establishment that has survived longer than many Far East concepts in St. Tammany Parish.Orange Beef is one of the most unique styles in interpretation offered at Imperial Chopsticks and that alone makes it a must try entree. The effort in presentation is quickly supplanted by overwhelming taste and flavor. Best Orange Beef I have ever had. Simply put I could order this every time I came and would never complain.Moo Shu Combo – while I do not care for the flap jacks provided. This is a great take home meal that can be used for leftovers to make fabulous morning burritos, or eaten immediately.Tonchou Chicken – Sweet and Spicy at the same time. Hand breaded fried chicken bites covered in delicious finger licking sauce.
Pretty darn good eat. Egg Rolls are delicious. Ask for the home made sweet and sour and hot mustard. The cho cho is very tender and juicy. My fiance deployed around Asia and has tried a lot of yellow curry….he loves this place! They have wonderful portion sizes.Pleasant atmosphere. Not crowded. My fiance and I came here before we went to New Orleans. A great place to take a date if you want conversation.
