Tiffany Mahne. KY’s, Horrible service, rude work staff, got so bad I canceled my order after about 45mins of waiting after being told order would take 20 mins. Don’t look to the manager for any help she was more rude that the regular staff and not once addressed me directly as a customer while I was there. She talked to the other staff about me with me standing right there, never to me. Don’t look to any of the other Keith Young’s establishments for assistance, as they claim to not be affiliated and can’t assist with giving the name of the owner of KY’s. i.e. Young’s Slidell, Crabby Shack Madsionville, Keith Young’s Madisonville.
Homestyle Cooking. This is one of my favorite restaurants. As close to home cooking as you can get. Everything fresh and staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely a family oriented environment. Highly recommend!!! My favorite is the grilled amber-jack and the house salad dressing is awesome.
Service was good. I like the restored bikes hanging from the ceiling. Simple basic burgers. I would like it with a different buns. Mass produced sesame seed buns are a little too basic with all the choices out there now.
Worth the trip. Not a fancy place. You go up to the conter, pick up a menu and place your order. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Food was great and worth the price. Cheaper than most. No beer on tap but a pretty well stocked bar with several nice wines. When you leave, you can stick a tip in the bucket for the ladies who deliver your food. Will go back for sure.
Classic southern style. Grilled shrimp Po-boy had great seasoning and lots of shrimp. Fries were perfect. Gumbo was also very good. I loved everything and the service was sweet as can be too.
