I’ve never even been but after reading the reviews about how the staff are A holes, I will never be going there. Stay away.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The customer service was so so, but the wedding cake was absolutely amazing. Thank you marguerites for a wonderful groom and wedding cake. We have gotten so many compliments about the cake!! 5 stars!!
The staff is rude and they are way overpriced! However, I still got my cakes from marguerites because I loved the way it tasted. Ordered a cake for my husbands bday over the weekend and it didn’t even taste good! I won’t be back
AWEFUL and OVERPRICED. AWEFUL! I had to pay $800 for cupcakes and one layer topper cake. The topper was supposed to be zebra done in fondant. It was spray painted and was green. They should have been embarrassed to bring it as they are supposed to be so great! My daughter cried when she saw it, and there were a ton of cupcakes left because they had no taste and were mostly globs of icing.
Wedding cakes. I went to Marguerites to shop for wedding cakes. Marguerite came out to talk to us and was delightful. She sent some sample cakes for us to try and called the wedding decorator to come talk to us. We didn’t have an appointment but she assured us that he wouldn’t mind, considering that he would be there shortly for an appointment anyway. He got there and was very pushy and completely unprepared. Instead of quoting us pricing he wanted us to tell him his budget (which his quote came in right at our budget, roughly $600 to feed cake to 50 people!!!) He immediately started trying to get us to sign a contract and said he wouldn’t discuss what the cake would look like or any other details without signing the contract! We told him we wanted to think about it and talk about getting rude. He wanted to know why we wasted his time when we weren’t ready to buy right then. He also thanked us for wasting his time. Marguerites is awesome for in house cakes but stay away weddings!!!
Cakes are pretty good but the service is terrible. Went recently and waited 15 minutes before the woman working there even acknowledged me, and she wasnt even friendly. Will not be returning. Not worth it.
