I don’t think a lot of people get out enough . I mean this place wasn’t bad but there was not one thing I had there that was great or even very good, I just moved here but I’m sure there has to be a better American Chinese in Slidell , also every dish was around $10, that’s pretty much a rip at this quality. The family working there were very friendly no denying that. I pretty much would categorize this place right there with panda express except slightly more expensive, which by the way is right down the street from it. FYI panda express is not a very good Chinese place either IMO
Straight to the point. This place is very very very very very very very very very good. lol but seriously really like the food there and its affordable. People are friendly and always welcoming.

I like it. Good take-out food. Some comparisons made to Hot Wok but Mr Joe’s always seems to be busier and there is a reason why. GREAT food, wasn’t disappointed. How did I overlook this little gem in Slidell? I absolutely HATE Chinese buffets but thankfully Mr Joe is there to feed our cravings for Americanized Chinese food.
It’s Good, But…. I prefer Hot Wok. Hot Wok and Mr. Joe’s have almost identical menus and I’m willing to bet that they’re owned by the same family. Hot Wok is easier to get to from where I live, plus it’s cheaper then Mr. Joe’s.
One of the best Chinese establishments for the value. Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Slidell for the price. Many entree combination plates cost less than $10 and include fried rice and an egg roll. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Portions are large enough that it usually takes me two sittings to eat it all. I was also impressed that they use fairly sturdy plastic containers for the to-go orders instead of the typical boxes.
Excellent. This place is great. i eat here once or twice a week and never had problems. the food is always great!!!!!!!
